Due to the complexities of working the various tax issues within a business, it’s important to understand the basics how taxes are related in a variety of formats that can potentially increase your tax liability and cost you unnecessary monies.  A step-by-step guide is provided to the participants as to how QuickBooks® utilizes various checks and balances to help maximize your learning experience.
All participants will receive a certificate of completion for the program upon completion with an on-line assessment tool to test your knowledge afterwards.

This program will offer a hands-on approach to business owners understanding the information needed for the Schedule C when working with sole proprietor/single-member LLC entities.  The following objectives will be covered during the program:

Objective 1 – Determine when a Schedule C is used for tax filing

Objective 2 – Review the rules for business activity versus a hobby

Objective 3 – What is reportable income and deductible expenses

Objective 4 – Completing a Schedule SE – Self-Employment tax form

Objective 5 – Standard mileage or actual vehicle expenses
